Please join the NMPMSE to recognize the 2025 awardees of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST). The PAEMST is the highest award that K-12 math and science educators can receive from the federal government.  Read the press release from the Biden Administration. 

  • Kimberly Conell from Albuquerque Public Schools as a 7–12 Math National Awardee
  • Heather Harrell from Taos Integrated School for the Arts as a K–6 Science National Awardee
  • Tara Palomares from Albuquerque Public Schools as a 7–12 Math National Awardee
  • Lesha Rupert from Albuquerque Public Schools as a 7–12 Science National Awardee
  • Christopher Speck from Albuquerque Public Schools as a 7–12 Science National Awardee
